Lash Lift and Tint Consent Waiver

Procedure Description

The lash lift and tint procedure involves applying a perming solution to the eyelashes to create a natural lift and curl, followed by a tint to darken the lashes. The process typically takes about 45-60 minutes, and results may last 6-8 weeks depending on individual lash growth cycles.

Risks and Complications

While the lash lift and tint is generally a safe procedure, there are potential risks and complications, including but not limited to:

• Eye irritation or discomfort
• Allergic reactions
• Damage to natural lashes
• Uneven lift/tint

Clients with certain medical conditions, such as eye infections or allergies to certain chemicals, should consult with a physician before undergoing the procedure.

Who Should not receive a Lash Lift?

The following conditions are contraindications to lash lift procedure

• If you have had eye surgery in the last 12 months
• Active eye infections
• Severe eye conditions such as Glaucoma, cataracts, blepharitis, or keratits
• Hair/ Skin Disorders : Alopecia, trichotillomania, eczema or psoriasis around immediate eye area
• Recent chemotherapy
• Extremely watery eyes
• Claustrophobia
• Pregnancy or breast feeding

Aftercare Instructions

To maintain your lash lift and tint, please follow these aftercare instructions:

• Avoid getting lashes wet for 24 hours after the procedure.
• Avoid rubbing or pulling on the lashes.
• Avoid eye makeup and mascara for 24 hours post-treatment.
• Avoid waterproof mascara, this will make lashes brittle
• Use approved conditioners such as Browtox, or Castor Oil to nourish the hair daily
• Avoid Sleeping directly on your face
• Avoid excessive working out, sauna, or steam for the first 24 hou

• You have read and understand the procedure description, risks, and aftercare instructions outlined above.
• You have informed the technician of any relevant medical conditions or allergies.
• You consent to the performance of the lash lift and tint service by On The Glow.
• You release On The Glow and its staff from any liability related to the lash lift and tint procedure.
