Wax Waiver and Care Instructions

Waiver and Release of Liability

By receiving an waxing service from On The Glow, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• You understand the nature of the treatment, which involves removing hair from the eyebrow area using waxing techniques.
• You confirm that you do not have any skin conditions, allergies, or medical conditions that could affect the waxing process.
• You release On The Glow and its estheticians from any liability for injury, loss, or damage sustained as a result of the treatment, unless it arises from the negligence of On The Glow staff.
• You are aware that waxing may cause redness, irritation, or other temporary effects.
• You consent to the treatment and understand that successful results depend on adherence to pre and post care procedures.

Pre-Waxing Care Instructions

To prepare for your waxing appointment and ensure the best results:

• Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and skin treatments like chemical peels or microdermabrasion for at least 48 hours before your appointment.
• Do not use retinoids or exfoliating products on the treatment area for at least 5 days prior to waxing.
• Ensure the eyebrow area is clean and free of makeup, oils, or creams on the day of treatment.
• If you have any concerns about your skin sensitivity, consult with the esthetician before your appointment.

Post-Waxing Care Instructions

To protect your skin and prolong the results of your waxing service:

• Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and hot baths or showers for at least 48 hours after the treatment.
• Do not use harsh skin products, exfoliants, or makeup on the waxed area for at least 24 hours post-treatment.
• Apply a soothing lotion or gel recommended by your esthetician to alleviate irritation or redness.
• If irritation continues or you have any concerns, contact your esthetician or seek medical advice.
